I've spent the last few days talking to contacts across the business world - proper people, creating wealth and generating opportunities.
I can honestly say that, to a man, Reeves's budget has gone down like a bucket of cold sick.
One medium sized business, £350k EXTRA a year to pay in tax. Another, £150k. A smaller operation, £30k.
Genuine question - does Reeves understand what she's done? She is going to put a bullet through thousands and thousands of businesses.
It's not like she slapped this tax on during a prosperous time. It is bloody hard work running a company now, and she's made things infinitely more difficult.
Prices will go up, pay rises will go down. If she thinks that this tax will not impact 'working people', then she's delusional.
How will companies deal with it?
They won't invest, they won't hire, they won't grow. And what happens? Less and less tax is paid, and this whole sorry show will be a huge drain on the economy.
The ONLY way to properly deliver growth is through the individual. Cut their tax, and MOTIVATE people.
I write this with just pure frustration - I cannot believe that they don't understand the consequences of their actions.
An incompetent Budget, from an incompetent Chancellor, as part of an incompetent Government.
Get rid of the lot.
'Sometimes I think maybe Britain hasn’t gone absolutely mental, and then I see Labour politicians, charities, the CPS and a load of race warrior protesters siding with a trigger-happy gangland criminal over a police officer and I realise we've lost the plot.'

Sunday night on the front foot in Eastleigh. It’s a special one with @alanbrazil going back to the original jäger 💣and of course happy birthday if it’s yours 🍻
Picture This
Labour MPs on £91,000 a year who get their heating bills paid by the taxpayer will on Tuesday vote to take £300 from pensioners on £13,000 a year.
This is a cruel and wicked government that puts its own people to the bottom of the pile.
Note to Labour voters - Buyers Remorse?
“I’d be campaigning to expel them. It’s a bad day for English football!” 🙅♂️
@sjopinion10 passionately explains to Graeme Souness and @JoleonLescott why Man City’s recent challenge towards the Premier League is bad for English football ⚽️
Watch #ThreeUpFront now 💥
Palace away. Bank holiday Monday night at 8pm. No one, and I mean no one needs that. What an absolute disgrace. No consideration for the travelling supporters AGAIN. There are other local fixtures that could be played on this date. When will they listen? Who is on our side?
Samuel’s special day 💫 If you have a spare 6 minutes to watch this, it’s worth it🥹 Honestly so grateful that I was able to be a part in this. Samuel is an inspiration to me without even realising it. A lovely family around him and a mentality stronger than most on this planet & now a friend of mine. Big credit to the people behind the scenes for sorting this @SpursOfficial, my club 🤍
