Another reason @Dynadot kicks ass! I have been using their API for drops for many years. Since about 2010 or so.

If you have a normal account, you need to keep it under 1 sec per call and you are golden.

You can 10x that with a bulk account. That may be worth it depending on what you are doing, especially for catching drops. 🫴

Try to follow what Yousesef told you.

And you might look at/study who is doing their marketing, or their agency partners.

Those marketers tend to be more approachable and might provide you some valuable insight, just from casual chit chat, into how to proceed. Document everything :)

You can still contact registrants even when privacy is on.

ICANN requires accurate registrant contact information on WHOIS records.

When privacy is on, there will be a proxy email address.

The registrar will probably forward, but filter what looks like spam.

Your email needs look like a legitimate, well formed proper business inquiry from a good email account and service.

And, your email should not look like all the rest that got through for the last 30 years :)

Recent US tariffs have helped fire up more self-sufficiency and drive up protectionism attitudes.

Ongoing LNG import/shipping issues has moved self-sufficiency more towards a necessity.
