“It’s not like he has a trillion dollars in his bank account, you just don’t understand economics”
Will you shut the fuck up and stop treating billionaires as a protected class. Morally bankrupt scumbag who’s clearly not well versed in French Revolution history
@313Hockey@evanstravers I’ll go with the guy who actually played 1c for team Canada, the guy who bumped Crosby off the dot. Respect to toews but hard agree that any gm would take prime Bergeron
@MurphysLaw74 They lost 4-0. If there’s a slight inkling of offensive talent he should’ve been out there. Simply bad coaching but please keep vague posting how hagens isn’t ready without giving evidence outside bad roster decisions
@kal_rosee@ezyeezybeezy@MuskTillDawn Will you shut up you fucking boot licker bot. Billionaires aren’t a protected religion, hoarding that amount of resources comes from depriving someone else in the world of them. You don’t understand how much a billion is and you’re just an engagement bot
@captian29506@greendragonhq Great example of a bot account. Every 2 sided issue farms engagement through these ai bots that only reinforce differences rather than trying to reconcile towards a solution. If you’re reading this comment, please don’t feed into this fake engagement and question any bs like this
@GardenLevelPod Who’s trying to keep the nerds happy? Let them figure out how to manage our cap situation with hagens getting an extension a year earlier. Likely will be better aav than a year later and you’re not wasting any primes. Are we scared to have people do their job? Or we this cheap?
@EDLAnalytics@ballerology17@NHLBruins The elc justifiers are basically saying they want the team to be cheap. In theory more cap space = more room to contend. But in reality, making sure guys are signed to non bloated contracts makes you more competitive. Hagens hitting the market a year earlier than planned is fine
@EDLAnalytics@ballerology17@NHLBruins Bottom line: unless you’re planning to stick him in the ahl for the rest of the season (wrong move), you’re burning a year off elc. And the main benefit is bs, yes extending a young player is always risky, but you’ll probably get a lower number if they hit the market sooner
@EDLAnalytics@ballerology17@NHLBruins In theory sure. But you wanna tell your 7th overall pick he won’t have a paycheck until July while rotting down in providence? Worst start to a career. Burning a year of the elc for Mcavoy is the only reason we were able to extend him. Kicking the can is not a solid philosophy
@EDLAnalytics@ballerology17@NHLBruins Once a player turns 20 by Dec 31, there is no slide rule. Doesn’t matter if it’s 1 nhl game or 0. Only way he doesn’t get a year burned is if he finds a way back to college which is now near impossible
@EDLAnalytics@ballerology17@NHLBruins “This means that the bruins organization is able to have hagens play in providence without burning a year of his entry level contract”. He can’t go back to college unless strict rules are met, regardless of when he signs his elc the term doesn’t slide. Year is burned off deal now
@plaverty24@Sweenius You didn’t name a single ncaa player in your list of examples. Outside of seider, that group has less than 15 career nhl goals, signaling maybe the team was wrong about best way to develop them. Ahl is no longer a viable pipeline to the pros for top tier talent
@ballerology17@NHLBruins False. Slide rule does not apply here since he turns 20 later this year. Challenging every bruins fan to do their hw and understand why majority of fans are frustrated by this move. Don’t listen to the uneducated
