@sama While I appreciate you fighting for user privacy (and agree it’s the right thing to do), why can’t we just anonymize user identity and other sensitive data in the backend?

This would be a happy medium between maintaining user privacy while also retaining chat logs as needed.

@CITYOFCARMELIN @CarmelUtilities Given that it’s the highest volume time of year for recycling due to the holidays, it seems like a partial refund should be issued for the several hundred customers affected. Can the city ask that Republic be proactive about this rather than asking customers to individually call?

@CITYOFCARMELIN @CarmelUtilities Just an update on this: Republic confirmed that we should have been picked up on Monday. After driving around, it appears it is not only our neighborhood, but several surrounding neighborhoods which were not serviced for recycling only.
