⬇️ College Softball is CUT THROAT & these numbers will tell you why ⬇️

A participation survey that was last updated 1 April 2024 by NCAA Research, shows that there were roughly 344,952 high school participants in softball across the country. 21,646 of those athletes became NCAA participants. That is roughly 6.3% of high school participants that became NCAA participants in softball.

2% of those athletes went Division I.
1.9% of those athletes went Division II.
2.4% of those athletes went Division III.

There are roughly 300 Division I schools in the country.
There are (+/-) 25 roster slots.
There is one starter per position.

What does this tell you?

The reality is: College Athletics is not for everyone & if you are outworked, you will be passed up.
