@DrewPavlou Funny how it starts at “Oh we just want to make under 16s safer” to “oh we just want to make you ALL safer”. Once the government are able to legally restrict information to you with one rule (being under 16) it becomes much easier to implement those restrictions on all of us.

@Jason is correct - this is what will happen. Governors who want to keep their jobs in that state will be pressured to restrict AV from the unions. Lots of adds will come out and lots of social media posts, followed closely by the main stream media - “Those Robots are steeling our Jobs”. Do I agree they SHOULD be restricted, that is another matter. I think let market demand sort out what should happen. That’s the way it “Should” work. Pretty big upheaval in the transportation industry - governments just cant help themselves - there will be intervention

Disagree. We need the cost of energy to be low to ensure all Australians have a prosperous future and our economy can grow. If a mix of solar and coal and gas lowers the cost of energy, that is better. The reason I own 2 x EVs is not because I think they are Carbon neutral, it because they cost less to own and run. If the price of energy goes too high, what’s the point?

Closed loop cooling system. Once the water is in the system, it still loses water, but a golf course uses more water. Be nice if Australian companies such as NextDC could afford to build DC’s like this, but our government makes it impossible to attract local investment. Farmers/food comes first. If this restricts water to farmers - it is being built in the wrong place.

@RobGrieves Check if it is still trying to take Exists off the freeway it should not be - and interested if it speeds up when another car is trying to pass to the right on the freeway - in Standard or Hurry mode. I’ll check your video later. Thanks Rob

Good video - thanks Rob. Hey, next highway trip (you need a longer trip) see what happens if you are in the left lane, using Standard or Hurry and a car passes you on the right. I got a pretty persistent behavior of it speeding up - making it harder for the passing car to get past. As if it was trying to match surrounding traffic speeds. I saw this in at least 70% of the time. Interested to see if you get it

Don’t usually post these things and not sure if you read them, but some feedback on FSD 14 for highway driving. I presume you can see my driving data….Did 2 x long back to back highway drives - about 900 KM s each way. One way on the original 13, coming back on 14.
Around town 14 is great. On the highway, not as good.

14 is not reading the speed signs on the highway…around 50%. So have to keep disengaging to keep to the limit. V13 you could change the max speed on the wheel. Don’t seemed to able to any more. Can only change from Chill to Standard to Hurry.

When another car comes up to pass me, v14 speeds up and make it harder for the other car to pass me - almost every time. Seems to be worse in Hurry mode.

Following behind on the highway wayyy too close maybe 2 x car lengths. - Dangerously close at 100KPH. Had to disengage a lot for that - or change to Chill mode, then it backed off.

Kept wanted to get off on freeway exits that it had no reason to - seemed to start happening after the sun went down???

Good stuff
now stays in the middle of the lane - used to be too far left
Accelerates well in all modes
Far better at making passing decisions.

So unless my car was doing something strange @TeslaAUNZ - need to look into this.
