Husband to an intelligent lady, father to 2 amazing adult girls and a self motivated teen son. I'm an Ag Banker that enjoys sports, hunting, whiskey & cigars.
@Cornfrmr I'm sure this is the reason I got a job as a "hired man". I thought they just wanted my muscles for those heavy bags, but actually the farmer was protecting himself?!? ๐
@sportsinkansas I only saw last night's 3A game against Scott City, but Brady Brumbaugh from Goodland, brought a magical 4th quarter performance. Single handedly secured a win in a very close game in my opinion.
@PatMcAfeeShow I first experienced the GCU fans last year in Denver. I enjoyed watching the players and leaning more about the school and their bball program.... but, I really became a huge fan of the GCU fanbase!
@catfan28 Brad, I just came across this post and you are correct, it is truly sad that Wendy is no longer with us. She was an incredible multi sport athlete.
A couple corrections to your post though. Her name is/was Wendy Wilbur and she is from Leoti - Wichita County.
It has to be so tough to be a student-athlete in the social media era. The way adults turn on kids on this platform is so sickening. To student-athletes of all ages, if you are doing your absolute best, it's good enough, that's all you can do! Ignore the keyboard coaches!
Congratulations to @CarterPeintner who was selected to the All Tournament Team of the Cardinal Classic!
Plus big team win over 2A defending champs and ranked #2 Moundridge last week!

Congratulations to Wichita County's Christopher Michel on being named a finalist for the John Zook Award for the top lineman in Western Kansas.

How impressive has Brant Douglas been as the HC of Leoti-Wichita County๐? He has a 59-9 record with the program since becoming the head coach in 2018. The year prior to him they were 3-6 and had just three winning seasons in the 15 years prior to Douglas. Indians have won 25 in a row and are looking for back to back state titles in the 8M-I class as they will face unbeaten Lyndon on Saturday in Newton. #sportsinkansas
Dear Kansas (KU) football fans,
It has been enjoyable to see your program rebound and compete at the level that it has. I have even caught myself cheering for you as you played those future SEC teams (weird, I know).
This ends today. Hate week has officially begun! EMAW!
