When I started working on @BasaltApp I had one thing in mind: to follow @kepano & @obsdmd's file-based approach but for financial data. Anthropic going public means they enter the quarterly growth machine. Four times a year they need to show more sales, ship something new, or raise token prices. If none of those work, they cut headcount. That's the IPO deal.

If you think tokens are expensive now, the pressure only goes one direction from here. Start optimizing.
