Over the past four weeks, I have been driving my van through northern, central, and rural Manitoba to spread my messages of joy, hope, and positivity. I was born in a village in a farming family, where we grow wheat, rice, sugarcane, maize, canola, and other crops. Driving through the wheat farms of Manitoba reminded me of my childhood in my village, where the crops and the surrounding views were similar and familiar. It made me nostalgic about my own roots. I grew up among wheat crops. I am glad that I could get a closer look at rural, remote, and non-urban Manitoba, where many real Manitoban cultures thrive. I visited many families and stayed with them, ate food with them, and they showed me their way of living and how they do farming on the land. This video also showcases the beauty of the wide and open spaces of prairie farms. I am thankful to two farmers from The Pas, Manitoba, of Round The Bend Farm, for helping me make this video. I ended this video with two photos in which I am kissing the wheat crop from my ancestors' farm in my village and a sunset at my ancestors' farm in Punjab to create this wonderful farming connection between two lands that produce similar crops and help bring food to many plates.
