My Tesla saved me today.
A jaywalker and I almost collided.
I have to admit, I think I was looking to the right for a moment. Just a brief lapse in attention, the kind that can happen to any driver, and I completely missed someone stepping out from between cars in traffic.
The Tesla detected the pedestrian, reacted in around half a second, and came to a complete stop in under two seconds, a response speed that would be difficult for most human drivers to match.
Today I’m incredibly grateful my Tesla was watching when I wasn’t.
I think if I was in another car, that guy would be in hospital 🤦♂️
For beginners, simply improve the file organization and left navigation for better usability. However, it’s incredible how remarkable Codex is. We completed a project in a single day that would have taken months, if not years, only a few years ago, and achieved results far beyond our expectations.
@elonmusk Give us a took tool to train our algorithm. Better for advertisers, better for users, better for all. Nothing worse than falling into a loop you have no interest in. Instagram sucks at this. X can win it.
Today, I finally feel the existential threat that AI is posing. When AI becomes overly good and disrupts everything, what will be left for humans to do? And it's when, not if.
@dwarkesh_sp@elonmusk@elonmusk seems to be back to his best. Like early days of Tesla when he was inspiring the world. Maybe he’s found the right challenge to work on again. 🧠
