Being a black man first and a independent news journalist second. I see that majority of the news reports are a about black teens or the black community. It’s easy to find the negative but hard to find the positive. You can find a fast food restaurant, liquor store, and a drug store within walking distance from each other in the urban neighborhoods but no fresh gardens that will help us live. We have a serious isssue when it comes to poverty and generational wealth. Social Class at birth and also race and gender out weighs the hard work and dedication in our city. We can’t save our youth until we save ourselves that look up to the rapper with the most money, or the nice cars. But what about the working class that have the same things ??? It’s time to value the life you do have learn yourself.
