@Bkov9 Trump reclassified illicit fentanyl as S1 while keeping prescription hospital use fentanyl S2.
His comments here make me think he may do something similar and reclassify medical to S3 and adult use to S2.
BREAKING: Elon Musk says there is a high probability that we are living in a simulation.
"There's some probability that we're in a simulation. Probably pretty high probability. One way to think of this is to say, if you look at the advancement of video games in our lifetime, it's gone from very simple video games with we've got, like Pong, you've got two rectangles in a square just batting it back and forth, to photo realistic, real time games with millions of people playing simultaneously.
That's happened just in the span of 50 years. So if that trend continues, video games will be indistinguishable from reality. And we're also going to have very intelligent characters, like non player characters in these video games."
We will build into some of the more serious future simulations a lack of awareness you are playing in a simulation. Obviously there will be a demand for simulations you know you are in too but that’s not what we’re talking about here. When you play a video game or are on a standard dose of LSD you know you are playing a video game or on drugs, so the experience is easily explained and doesn’t feel like a factual true experience.
The feeling of this being real base layer reality is a critical part of getting the most out of the simulation. You can’t know you’re in it or it’s just a game and you can’t learn the same lessons from the experience. There will be demand for this simulation in the future as tech advances and we seek to find purpose in outlet lives and we will create it. Are we in base layer reality right now and this will be the first time we create a simulation? We can’t know… that’s the point and why life is so awesome.
I don’t think animals are by default NPCs and their life and experience in the simulation is likely a very positive and interesting one. Enjoyment and pleasure can come in many forms. If we were given a player choice, difficulty level, lesson we want to learn etc at the start of the game, I can see a lot of value in the non human character experience.
Elon Musk literally gave the 5-step process on how to build better
1. Question the requirements
2. Remove unnecessary process steps
3. Optimize
4. Accelerate time-to-learning
5. Automate
one of the greatest visuals of all time. would add that some of the black lines of the past connect to green lines of the future even if it’s not clear how.
