@Lord_Sugar@ITVX@ITV@skytv and @NOWTV also do the same tricky thing! Charge you for a bundle to remove ads only to put their own “in house” content there instead. 🥊
@ChelFulhamBen@andyburnham How ‘bout lowering the 52p/PL gov is adding on to the cost of fuel. At least remove the vat on top of the fuel duty tax. #tripleTaxed.
@REDROMINA I broadly support the lawsuit: as a premium subscriber, I sit through annoying Squarespace or Brilliant ads before getting to the content. Subscribers shouldn’t face any ads, I pay for channel memberships or Patreon to support my fav creators. Focus on that to earn more 💰
@ChelFulhamBen@CommonsHealth@BiteBack2030 Then start by telling your Chancellor to stop VAT on whole healthy food items, instead of reducing tax% on Burger King, McDs, KFC or candy floss and ice cream stores at summer festivals, funfairs and cinemas?
@HelloDearVoid Annoying to me: “addicting” is now a thing, replacing “addictive”…and it’s in the dictionary. Also, pluralising collective nouns such as LEGOs….noooo it’s LEGO.
Anyways… lol 😮💨🫠😆🫢
.@TfL@RBKC FYI the westbound speed camera on Cromwell / A4 main road is constantly flashing / triggering incorrctly. Definitely broken! DO NOT TICKET! Everyone’s going ~10mph and is causing extreme confusion. Thanks.
@NBCNews Apart from looking great on one’s shelves, physical discs really are the only way to preserve ownership (for the most part). Publishers like Sony want charge gamers ownership prices for basically a ticking clock rental, not in perpetuity, and evidently be relinquished anytime.
@RodKahx Its annoying. Elon wont get rid of it because it pays them ad rev, and forces users to sub to pro to remove ads. Only thing that works for me is to just use a vpn, which probably means ads are geofenced or targeted to certain countries.
