@simmonssteve You thought it impossible even though a Canadian from Victoria had already done it and sparked the wave of Canadian players infiltrating the NBA? Seems short sighted Steve.
@kennyfleck@Raleighcaniac@corylav It was a clear sucker punch. Playoffs or not it was over the line punching a guy while someone else holds him unable to defend himself
@_EllieNuck_@Canuck_Faithful IMO EP40 doesn’t have that internal drive and despite to excel. I don’t believe he actually LOVES playing hockey…I believe it’s a job for him to make the money he does and he it won’t build his character because it’s just a job
@BCLionsDen@JayJanower@hockeyville Alrighty. Definitely nothing to argue about as we both agree someone should step up for Tumbler Ridge….but when you are in the media and your job is communicating I believe he could have expressed his thought more clearly
@_EllieNuck_@BasketballPhil Always entitled to an opinion for sure and I agree that the NHL or the Canucks or Kraft could have - after the vote was counted and the rightful winner announced and given their due - also taken care of Tumbler Ridge
@BCLionsDen@JayJanower@hockeyville It’s literally what he said. Naming them both “co-winners” that would be circumventing the voting process. Perhaps what he should have said is that KraftHockeyville could have named Taber the winner because they - you know - actually won, but also funded Tumbler Ridge as well
@Vandecision There has to be a response when your captain…the USA team captain…your best player….is felled by an incredibly dirty play. No different than coming to the defense of your friend if he gets jumped or your family if they are verbally abused. To do nothing is not acceptable.
@wyshynski@JeffMarek I have no doubt that the DOPS does work their ass off and does the best job they can…it should be up to the teams and PA to set the standard to tougher penalties and what they would like to see from the DOPS
