@assertchris I don't think you should constrain yourself to a single topic. Your interests will change and if they don't align, streaming will feel like a burden. I'd tune in just to see what you're working on.
@assertchris @KyleTheCoder I was talking to a colleague today, about how we both intentionally use incorrect grammar now (e.g., hyphen instead of en/em dash), to avoid sounding like AI.
@assertchris Doom and gloom responses like my last one don't help. Here's something positive:
Hello friend, I hope you're well and having a lovely day.
I find ChatGTP's feedback helpful and interesting. But whenever I switch to Claud for a bit and go back to ChatGTP it ends up feeling like I'm talking to a teenager.
It literally just said "Boom. That's snippet bait." In its feedback on something I'm writing.
What if film recommendations were about serendipity, not engagement metrics? I'm exploring an idea for a personalised engine and documenting the build from the ground up.
@taylorotwell Once I sat down, face to face, they gave me a realistic but simplified version of the worst part of their codebase and asked me to find any problems. I found the challenge easy because I was right for the role (luckily) and could ask questions if I got stuck.
@krakjoe@ThePHPF This is really interesting. Thank you for sharing. I feel woefully under educated on this topic, though. Can you recommend any further reading? I'd love to better understand the possibilities and ideally help contribute to the ecosystem in some way.
