@A_Fiorella74 @branchastain @RuthSevereWx I think this really depends on the unit. Newer heat pumps can draw heat even from sub-zero temperatures. Here are my logs - red is aux heat usage. Let your thermostat call for aux heat as it needs it, but those coils can use >6000 watts while running.
