Wood (12-6) takes down Emerson 6 to 2. Norman dominated on the hill striking out 15 over 6.2 innings. D'Angelo caught one stealing, and Laffey picked up the final out in relief. On offense, Nitch went 2-4 and set the tone with a solo shot in the Maroons' first at-bat of the game. Kim also homered with a runner on in the 4th. Laffey, D'Angelo and McCrone (1 RBI) each doubled, and Orr (1 RBI) and Lee each contributed singles. Wood faces Paramus on Monday (home).
