@SpotifyCares I guess Spotify thinks my Basic Family plan has ads now? This is clearly a mistake, what is the best way to report this? I didn't pay for ads.
Utah Sens. John Curtis and Mike Lee voted against a Senate resolution that would limit President Donald Trump from conducting further military action in Venezuela without congressional approval.
The measure passed the Senate with bipartisan support and now heads to the House. Supporters say it reinforces Congress’s role in authorizing military action, while opponents argue it is unnecessary given current conditions.

Sometimes people ask why hackathons have such amazing things that don’t show up during the normal work prioritization.
And why of those hackathon projects, many great ideas still never get to prod.
It’s because…coding was not the bottleneck.
Competent people either want total authority, or for other highly competent people to have total authority. Any situation where that falls apart will make them absolutely freak out.
Important to note that if a federal agent wants to kill you, that's basically between them and their conscience. You can't sue. The state can't prosecute. And these feds won't prosecute.
while my friends played starcraft, i studied the compiler. and now you come to me ...
wait hold on your saying niche computer knowledge is commoditized now and what matters is coordinating a bunch of agents with lots of quick task switching and high APM
Finally shipped something I've been working on - TagLibSharp2 v0.1.0
I wanted a modern, MIT-licensed .NET library for audio metadata, so I built one to replace the original TagLib#. Starting with MP3, FLAC, and Ogg - my goal is to match TagLib# format support and grow from there.
It's early and I'd love your feedback - what formats or features matter most to you?

One of the best things you can get from a new hire is perspective.
I remember when we were transitioning to 24/7 oncall, some people were really freaking out. We hired someone from Amazon and they were like are you fucking kidding me? The oncall rotation here compared to Amazon is like being the sultan of Brunei.
We hired someone from an AI 996 startup. People were chatting about having too much going on. The person’s jaw hit the floor. Fellas, their face said, this is picnic in Hyde park with tea and cucumber sandwiches compared to where I came from.
And similarly, we’ve had people come in and say how unbelievably fucked our CI is. And they were right.
Just viscerally knowing how things are elsewhere can be such an uplevel to perspective.
