I saw @altonbrown French fry recipe and had to give it a go after using the baked potato recipe for years. Fried in tallow from a local farm, hard to beat! They were gone almost as quick as they were fried.

@LandsharkRides I drove an hour to the nearest theater that had this showing. This was Peak cinema at the time. It felt a bit like a soap opera at first but was a fun immersive experience. Never thought it would catch on but cool that someone was trying a new format.

@coookwithchris If you’ve ever taken apart one to clean the whole assembly where the hot liquid flows it’s pretty disgusting. I understand why people use them. $15 pour overs made from metal or glass and 5 more minutes in the morning. 😎

@normonics Also great for staples, removed ~100 staples with these adjustable pliers and a small flat head. Just pinch then use as a cam lever to lift the staple out.

@JoeyDevlin_ @Ryan_Kubanka @Tesla Elon said exactly this in some kind of “master plan” or something a while back. Make an expensive car to pay for the production of cheaper cars until you can drive the price down. No one uses their car 24/7 so have it work for you while your at work/sleep.

@thewealthdad I wanted to be an architect until I visited a real firm a few times and found out you don’t get to do any of the fun stuff until you’re senior. Did Comp Eng instead because I thought PC was easy. First job paid 50k (2007) and still had time to start a side biz. Great decision.
