@ConnorJRogers You make many broad statements about Mets fans. Recently it was "every single Mets fan" wanted McNeil gone (SO not true); today it was “99 of 100 fans” want Mendoza gone. The fans you hear from on X don’t speak for all. MANY Mets fans want Stearns fired, not Mendy.
@PSLToFlushing If you want to factor in adjusting to a new team/contract in assessing Bichette, you must do the same for Nimmo, McNeil and especially Alonso, who, contrary to your pat dismissal of them, are all outperforming Bichette, Semien and everyone else Stearns brought in.
@OUontheAir It's cold and rainy in New York City, but I've got @OU_Softball, DJ and Nicole to keep me warm and happy! Boomer Sooner from the Big Apple!
@OUontheAir Oh, how I love early runs when watching @OU_Softball. They keep my blood pressure somewhat in check. Could use a bigger cushion, though. Boomer Sooner from NYC!
@PlankShow Hi Plank. You've probably said why you're coming to NYC on your show or elsewhere, but I missed it. If you're coming for pleasure, not business (meaning you might have a little time), I'd love to buy you a beer or a cup of coffee. It'd be nice to meet you.
@OUontheAir My good friend Susan also graduated from SUNY Binghamton! She works for the New York Times. Watching @OU_Softball while I "work" today. Boomer Sooner from NYC!
go over the wall it should be three bases. If it's on purpose, it should be four bases. Parker had a sure double on that play and two runners would have scored. Thankfully, those runs scored anyway, but it's a terrible rule that unjustly penalizes the offense.
@OUontheAir It's ironic. If a ball gets mishandled over the wall in the field of play, it's a homer. The offense benefits from the fielder's miscue. If the fielder mishandles a ball over the wall in foul territory, the offense gets cheated. If the fielder causes the ball to...
@OUontheAir I've never seen a ground rule double called when the ball only went over the wall because the player mishandled it. I'm not sure that was the right call. We got cheated out of a run. Anyway, Boomer Sooner from NYC!
@OUontheAir Believe it or not, I've been seeing whiny @OU_Softball fans complaining about today's Game 2 win. Not me. It was hard-fought and well-earned and the team will face many such challenges in the postseason. It was a great win! Boomer Sooner from NYC!
@OUontheAir Reply clearly showed that the aggie infielder had moved several feet toward the right-field grass before Wells got anywhere near second. It wasn't remotely interference. Not even close.
@OUontheAir I don't care if it is 8pm on a Thursday, that crowd is embarrassing. Love's Field would be plenty full for @OU_Softball if they were playing there. Boomer Sooner from NYC!
@SECNetwork Actually, her impressive defensive play for the third out in the top of the seventh sealed it. GG came through with her bat and her glove (as she typically does--she's amazing).
@OUontheAir Man, I love it when @OU_Softball grabs an early lead and when it comes via a record-setting @KendallWells__ homer, it's that much sweeter! Boomer Sooner from NYC!
@PSLToFlushing The Mets (and you two) do love their AAAA players. How soon will Mauricio switch places with Baty, so he can have his turn to once again dominate in Syracuse?
