Thanks to Daily Maverick, we have some images of what is happening on the cattle vessel docked in Cape Town.

Animals are living in their own faeces. Having insufficient access to water and medical care. They are being transported to Iraq in the most cruel and deplorable conditions just so they can be slaughtered in accordance with their medieval religious practices.

This is completely unacceptable. We should be able to obtain a court injunction to stop the vessel from proceeding, remove the animals and have them humanely euthanized.

Where are our political leaders? Too busy eating their own body weight in food and counting their gold. 😡😡

@RiebvJanbeeck I know oom, but because of the colour of their skin they were tolerated by the British colonisers, even encouraged to settle in Zim. Even if they bought the land, it would have been at a pittance and more importantly at the expense of indigenous who were not allowed to buy land.

DURBAN HAS COLLAPSED

Nothing works in the once beautiful city. Potholes, damaged roads, over grown grass, litter everywhere. Dozens of suburbs do not have water for weeks on end. The electricity supply is erratic. With the recent rain a
