@GrowingUpRetro For guests who smoked. Looking back on this, I can’t believe my nonsmoking parents let people smoke in our house. It was very rare. In the 1970s we had ashtrays in the living room and den of our house. My mom usually had women from the PTA over who smoked at the kitchen table.
