@ThePoeticAce@KirkPeck The point is, if you weren’t elderly and were relatively healthy Covid provided statistically zero risk to your life, so taking a potentially risky vaccine didn’t make logical sense. Yet people still wanted to force everyone to take it.
@KristiTalmadge@JasonJournoDC They lied, crushed the economy, put people out of business, sent tens thousands into a severe mental decline, tortured children, and tried to have people fired/removed from society for not getting a vaccine which turned out to literally kill people. I will not get over it
@dancingofpens@Mad_Madame_Em Putting up with it? A large portion of the country supported shutting society down for an extended period of time, then just printing money to hand out. Many of us said this was a bad idea and this is the result.
@PathfinderCool@s_sultzer@Brcremer See if you can defend leftwing politics and widespread government grift without mentioning Trump. He was a result of the lefts sickness, not a cause.
@MaximumK75753@Brcremer Yes you nailed it. Half the country hates those vague concepts. Couldn’t possibly be that they hate the idea of the government taking their money, wasting/stealing a large portion of it, and then giving it to people for not working.
@NickTaber58@EmilySeal6 I don’t think he’s hating the idea of youth sports, just the utter insanity it has become, and he’s right. A 9 year old team doesn’t need 4 uniforms, matching bags, and play 12 games every weekend in tournaments that are clearly designed to make money.
@SamuelB21133919@TypeSafeMuppet@Pewpewkachuu@GunnelsWarren For the record, the barista makes ~$11k more than I made on my first sales job out of college, and about $5k more than my wife made after getting an accounting degree. So spare me that it’s not enough money to live on.
@SamuelB21133919@TypeSafeMuppet@Pewpewkachuu@GunnelsWarren Young people think a daily $8 “nutrition” drink or coffee, and eating 80% of your meals not at home is just a basic standard of living. It’s not. A single person can feed themselves for a week on less than $100. Easily.
