This adjustment is a response to the rising cost of living and the need to ensure workers earn a dignified livelihood. The revised structure now places unskilled workers at a minimum monthly wage of KSh 7,997, with skilled workers such as house servants and cooks earning KSh 9,129, and general laborers in cities like Mombasa earning up to KSh 16,113.75 per month.
