Congratulations to all the winners and those who did not prevail for embracing democracy and participating in the just-concluded Presidential and Parliamentary Elections held on 15th January 2025.

We extend special congratulations to H.E. @KagutaMuseveni, our Patron Rt. Hon. @RebeccaKadagaUG, our MCC Chairperson Rt. Hon. @Rukianakadama (3rd Deputy Prime Minister), Hon. Minister @n_persis, Hon. Minister @millybabalanda, and our seasoned Members of Parliament who have been re-elected.

The 2026–2030 term presents us with a renewed opportunity to advance our shared dream of driving Busoga to Middle-Income Status, by guiding every household in Busoga to earn at least UGX 20 million per annum.

The Bible teaches us that God appoints leaders for different seasons, each entrusted with a unique assignment. As we begin this new term, our assignment for this season is clear: the fulfillment of Busoga’s historic transformation agenda.

We therefore once again congratulate you as the chosen leaders for this season and pledge the full support of the Busoga Consortium for Development (BCD) Secretariat in facilitating our shared mission and vision.

To all others who offered themselves for leadership at various levels, we commend your courage and commitment and wish you success in your future endeavors.

May God bless you all.

Busoga Okwisania n’amaani.
