@bartonovopolis I never expected Insomniac to make a traversal system this good, and I never expected them to make a story this awful. I disliked it so much that I can’t confidently say it’s a misstep that can be corrected for 3.
@hdwmovies Woke critics won’t allow this to happen because of the scene where Harold says “if he won’t build the wall, I’ll draw it”. What happened to free speech?
@BlackCasebook It’s so funny to me that modern batman writers will regurgitate every idea from Morrison’s run other than the best one, DickBats. Likely editorials fault
@LostLoreScholar This change in tone can be gradually seen with each Dragon Age entry. Instead of the world itself being a place you explore with your friends, the world is now inhabited by characters that remind you of your friends. It’s a cosy home away from home
@ByYourLogic Really cool that Starlight and Hughie’s relationship for the last three seasons has been:
Starlight: I went through something really hard
Hughie: that must have been really hard I’m sorry
Starlight: yeah it was really hard
As they stand five metres apart from each other
@erikkain I don’t see how the brand can really continue after IX, and Disney seems to agree since so many of their shows are now focued on recontextualising that mess
