@TheGeezerBird and I went to see Neil Oliver’s History of Great Britain in 100 Places talk @BillinghamForum on Monday (never go out on a school night) and we were mesmerised by how poetic it was! I spoke to the man himself and he understood about Orkney!

@theepicmap It’s an astonishingly, beautiful, wild place packed full of artisans, musicians and poets, has amazing beaches and cliffs and has the best Neolithic sites in Britain. It’s also incredibly contemporary!
