I did it!! On Friday I successfully defended my PhD thesis and had a wonderful night celebrating with my friends in NYC. It was better than Iโd ever hoped. Now time to enjoy NYC for the next 2 weeks before I move back to California! ๐ฅณ

@careerconversa1 This is also me! Wake up at 4-5am. Sometimes I start waking in and out of sleep by 2am. I used to resist it and try to sleep until itโs a normal waking hour and it doesnโt work for me. A nap on a weekend day helps me when I am too sleep deprived, if I can do it.
I recently found the green chile my grandma always made for us growing up. Itโs something I thought I wouldnโt find here in NYC! She walked me through her recipe on the phone and it turned out delicious ...almost as good as hers.
