@JohnLewisPlc so frustrating! Accidentally made payment £750 to old HSBC partnership card a/c & can't get it back . HSBC won't take ownership as I'm told JLewis card with NewDay. NewDay can't deal with it as HSBC have the money John Lewis won't deal ' say its HSBC .Grr!!

@emily_copes occasional selfishness is good. I work from home so no "away from work/husband time" struggling with end of life parent, and work, so took myself to countryside BB for 3 nights; said No partner's offer to join me for dinner, wrote, walked, slept, recovered. Bliss.

@MartinSLewis When we visited India a few years back, they had a rolling blackout. Evert day each district had no power for 1 hour. The timing of the hour was advanced by 60mins every day so if you had no power at 4pm one day, it would be 5pm the next.

Large swathes of the NHS has already been contracted into private hands. including Merck US drug giant
