@aphasiologist1 @neuroslt1 @ELSSLT@abracabadger Not explicitly. You can ask the avatar to comment on the accuracy of your speech; you might get a helpful response. Sometimes the speech recognition guesses what what you intended to say, but other times it's wrong.
I think this is a very fertile area for research!
@aphasiologist1 @neuroslt1 @ELSSLT@abracabadger Hi Karen, Linda,
Check out https://t.co/AMfHSFRJW3 . Allows conversations with AI avatars. User can control complexity of avatar's speech.

@SusanPolgar Most unlucky of all was Akani Simbine in 4th, missing the podium by 1 hundred of a sec. This after also finishing 4th in Tokyo and 5th in Rio.
@JohnPierce85@rtslt@speedoftrust27 Hi John, Richard(s),

Interesting article about a stroke survivor whose thoughts are being converted into speech. Accuracy about 75%; that's likely to improve as the technology is further developed.

@transformassess@oepopoola@WeWuWiWo@SonjaBjelobaba@TFoltynek @LornaWaddington Teachers shouldn't be using "detectors" at all. They should be teaching how to use these new tools effectively. Penalizing students for using them is an unproductive strategy in the long run.
@JohnPierce85@JonHuntSLT Very interesting! Unfortunately, Wolfram doesn't give his source.
'th' & 'he' seem highest - makes sense thanks to 'the'.
Is 'in' third? It would be nice to have a list of the top 5 or 10.
Speech therapy exercises/games could be created from this data?
The Mount Everest summit is now famous for being frequently crowded by considerable amounts of climbers, but this 360° view captured by Ben M. Jones in May 2018 shows a rarely pristine summit and a breathtaking panorama
