@Billystones4 @UKLabour It is a mystery how Labour think that the estimated £8.1 billion from their latest additional windfall tax will pay for a £130 billion energy price fix. They keep on and on saying it. "Make the energy companies pay fo it"

@UKLabour The windfall tax would raise £2 billion. Divide this by the number of citizens and they each receive £30. This is enough to buy one cigarette each week for a year. It is NOT enough to cut £600 off fuel bills. Labour also claim it will allow increasing the Warm Homes payments.

@MSmithsonPB The success of the vaccination/booster programme, also the 440,000 extra jobs in the economy, is many times more important than wine and cheese violations. Absurd to resign over that!

@Peckhampulse @UKLabour The Labour policy of creating safe, legal routes for unlimited numbers of those fleeing from hostility and poverty, is a backdoor method of unpicking what the public voted for at Brexit time. We have 6 million waiting for operations and a serious housing shortage already.

@Keir_Starmer The fact that the government had to pay 400 billion of taxpayers' money to keep jobs alive over the Covid crisis will obviously have an effect on future spending. Can Labour say: 'No, go ahead with all previous spending plans'?

@OfficialCWH @GMB I see you are from the Andrea Rayner ('Tories are racist scum') school of political commentators. On today's programme, Alistair Campbell, who is supposed to be an impartial interviewer, described the present government as the 'worst he has ever seen'. That is a disgrace.

If such an outpouring of apparent hatred had been aimed at people of a certain race, gender or religion, it would have been illegal

@GMB I am very happy with what Ranvir Singh says in her commentary. What I absolutely cannot stand is her injection of ', you know,' every few seconds. I lost count of the number of times she said it in her first five minutes. Please inform her how aggravating this is.

@piersmorgan The last two mornings on GMB, Piers Morgan has been diverting attention from the huge vaccinations success by going back a year to the PPE shortage, claiming that Matt Hancock should resign because the PPE paperwork was two weeks late. You couldn't make it up!

@piersmorgan This is ridiculously unfair on Emily Maitlis. Piers Morgan is 50 times more impartial in an anti-government direction, and somehow he never gets in trouble. He overspeaks and shouts at every government minister on GMB, as if it is some drunken game. Every answer is interrupted.

@GMB @RobbieRinder Perhaps the ITV management should stand up to the bile and hatred that Piers Morgan and Kevin Maguire produce each week against everyone in the current government.

@SkyNews It looks unseemly to me to be conducting trade-union like bargaining before implementing the necessary health restrictions to protect the citizens of Manchester. Anyway, how will Liverpool and Lancashire feel if Andy Burnham does manage to get more money than they did?

@GMB It is not the role of the new doctor replacing the admirable Dr H to espouse political (left-wing) views, such as blaming Dominic Cummings' trip for everyone who has since broken lockdown, distancing or facemask rules. She should inform us on medical matters.

@GMB Piers Morgan's approach for Tory MPs: (1) Lengthy speech of his own anti-govt opinion (2) difficult question (3) interrupt answer loudly after a few seconds (4) abuse politician rudely. He then thinks they won't come because of (2). No, it's 1,3,4 that are so appalling.
