UMass lacrosse finished the regular season 14-2 (7-0) to clinch the outright MAC regular-season championship.

The Minutewomen have the second-highest-scoring offense in the nation (17.19 goals per game) and are No. 1 in assists per game and No. 2 in scoring margin.

Westwood's Ava Connaughton, Franklin's Katie Peterson, Westwood's Lil Hancock, Walpole's Caitlyn Naughton and Walpole's Brigid Welch are all top 10 on the team in points.

@WinterSportsLaw The roster limit is going to be tough to stay under. Assume they will need to carry over the DSA tag from the house settlement as the rosters will balloon.

@jasonscheer It will be difficult for all teams. Most teams like lacrosse, soccer mens and womens are at their cap. I think the portal for 5th years will be full of players trying to find an opportunity. Teams will only be able to keep a few stud seniors or cut incoming recruits.
