I respect TCU. Good Texas folks down there. With that being said for the next 5-6 days we want any and all smoke. Beat TCU and then crush Dukes hopes and dreams. I see the vision. Bruce Thornton ball. Buckeyes by a billion.
A couple quick OSU hoops thoughts:
First, Bruce Thornton -- may you never need a reservation at any restaurant in Columbus, ever
Incredible player with an incredible accomplishment. But in this era, to stick through the same program for four years, that's most admirable to me
Bruce Thornton is going to go down as one of the best and most appreciated players in the history of college basketball. I doubt there has ever been a four-year captain. Stayed four years, became school's scoring king, finally going to NCAA Tourney (we hope!). Almighty Bruce!
Man, this moment is incredible. Bruce Thornton being all business while the crowd collectively loses its mind perfectly encapsulates the kind of humble, team-first player he's been his entire career. The all-time leading scorer and an all-time Buckeye.
What a way to send off Bruce Thornton on Senior Night. Not much loyalty left in college sports. Stuck it out when he had every reason to leave. 3 dominant wins in a row to end the regular season. 20-11. 12-8 in the Big Ten. They canโt deny us. The Ohio State Buckeyes are DANCING.
@JBook_37 I understand doing it early. New QB. Trying limit total play count to keep guys fresh. But there has to be a trigger point about midway through the season where you let it rip offensively. Heard it was coming. Just never did.
I love coach Day but his decision to play slow and limit possessions when you have two 1st round WR's, an historical defense, and 5 first rounders on that roster is one of the most silliest decisions. Brotha just demolish and overwhelm people with your massive talent advantage.
