@davidasinclair returned to normal. I since tried several other statins and the same thing happened. After a couple weeks I started going downhill. Short term memory loss and confusion. I then switched to PSK9 inhibitor (Praluent). So all these trials that show no impairment are wrong.

@davidasinclair early onset cognitive impairment (I was in my early 60s at the time). I did not associate my problems with the statin. I was assessed with a very mild impairment and it was getting worse. Somehow I realized it may have been the statins and I stopped and after a week or two

In your discussion with Huberman you said there was no evidence of cognitive implications of statins in clinical trials. I tried statins and the same happened to me as happened to those in the paper.

I tried again with several other statins and could feel the onset so stopped taking them. I have been taking PSK9 Alirocumab and am good.
