@JimPethokoukis @hblodget Autonomous cars/trucks can’t map (their spaces are too big), are heavy and fast (dangerous), their sensors are challenged in fog, sun, rain, snow and darkness. Their environments are unstructured and have no universal, contextual, semantic system or policy. Unsolvable problem.

@JimPethokoukis @hblodget AMRs from Locus Robotics travel reliably indoors in semi-structured environments (warehouses). The robots build a detailed map of the space, localize within it and navigate well, avoiding collisions and changing their routing, if blocked. Problem solved.
