I had kool aid as a child but refused to let me children drink it. I was in the a navy on board a ship and we used large packages or unsweetened koolaid to keep the kitchen steam tables free of calcium deposits and also to keep brass fittings cleaned all those fire hoses with brass fittings - just remove the fitting drip it in a bucket of koolaid for a couple house come back and rinse
