Stop seeking validation from a world that crucified a perfect man

Before you accept equity from anyone

- Ask them to show you the last 3 months of their work in the startup with calendar schedules. If they don't have a schedule or they have been missing personal targets, leave them, they are unserious

- Ask them to show you paper work including finances of the company. Finance could be them showing you the business account.

- Ask them to show you the laid out plan for the next six months bit by bit on how they plan to launch and make money. Not words. in a schedule software. See all their deliverables

- Ask to see other people on the team, assess them also based on what they have done for the past 3 months.

Many of these people giving you equity do not know the meaning and implication of the word "equity". they are easily jokers and procrastinators looking to waste your time.

In the meantime insist on cash payment

Today’s challenge is all about having fun and going wild with creativity. Here’s what to do:

- Design a Profile Card for yourself (like the one I shared of mine)
- The most creative or funny one wins
- Keep it simple if you want (no need for fancy shadows or colors)
- Steal inspiration from anywhere on the web
- Go absolutely mad with this one

(And if you’re stuck, just try to redesign mine exactly - match it pixel for pixel)
