Alex Bowman was pressed on his 2027 plans during a media Zoom call on Tuesday. And while Bowman explained that the decision of whether to return to Hendrick Motorsports, retire, or go somewhere else hasn't been at the top of his mind, a decision is coming sooner rather than later.
That being said, he's just focused on improving the No. 48 car and team from week to week, and will collaborate with Hendrick Motorsports leadership for his ultimate decision on 2027.
