🤔 Conclusions: Seizure-correlated dIEA cycles aren't solely found in epileptiform discharges, but link to background brain state measures. Neurostimulation might temporarily interrupt these cycles. Another perspective on this captivating multidien phenomenon!

Our recent work studying the gene-regulatory mechanisms of pediatric posterior fossa ependymoma is now published at Nature Communications! https://t.co/b4rTksKfiK This paper was a long time in the works and I am very grateful for my co-author Emma Troisi and mentor @camara_pg !
Congrats to @AndrewYRevell and @TCampbellArnold, my talented and inspiring labmates who both just defended! Thank you for your unique contributions to science, and also for the memories, the memes, and the mischief ;) Good times— I can’t wait to see where you go from here! 🥳
New preprint: Change in structural brain network abnormalities after traumatic brain injury determines post-injury recovery https://t.co/m9YhsdEQtL with James Gugger, @ArrastiaDiaz @katedavis12341 @yimingH11 and others. Combining MRI+dMRI+blood biomarkers+CT+recovery postTBI
Glimpses of the 2022 Bioengineering Graduate Research Symposium happened today! Thank our keynote speaker @elhamazizi for the wonderful presentation, and thank you all for your participation!! @pennbioeng@PennEngineers
Excited to see our work published in @braincomms! We add to a growing body of literature studying how iEEG electrode type, spatial distribution, and white matter sampling affect epileptic networks. I'd like to thank the entire team and my mentor @BrianLitt2 for their support!
Multisite RNS biomarker paper now out in Epilepsia (https://t.co/K6QfFhwOYk)! Thanks to the incredible collaborative efforts with NYU & UCSF, we identified an iEEG network biomarker that differentiates RNS responders from non-responders prior to device implantation.
