@howie_hua The closer miles and time, the rate is faster? As an avid hiker, of if I can walk 5 mile more in 5 minutes I’m clearly sprinting downhill, with the wind, and at a rate greater than 20 miles 30 minutes. Relationship matters here.

@pwharris My first reaction is tied to sitting beside students, some anticipated ideas percolating in hand, and considering the assessing and advancing questions I pose framed with authentic curiosity about student ideas. The punctiform moment is the edge of the future.
