My dear friends, it is with great pleasure that Harvey, Rascal, and myself (with the ever present support of @SummRidge , of course) bring you our first BIG COZY CONTEST!

My most beloved season is Autumn, then Winter, Spring, & Summer. In that order. SO, when Ken suggested to our venerable X wholesome poster, @OldHollowTree , that he sweeten up one of our giveaways, and the good man buzzed at the opportunity, deciding to offer up a Humming Meadow mug, I got excited and decided to try and rope in a bunch of wholesome Americana to help us get through this last bit of summer heat and look towards autumn.

With great generosity of spirit we, all of us, considered breaking the prizes up and, perhaps, next time, we will. However, they all compliment each other so very well that I simply cannot do it.

In honor of Dolly, one of the great pride's of East Tennessee, we are giving away what, according to lore, could well have been a type of gun she carried. Especially when being pestered on the streets of NY.

One thing we do know for sure, Dolly was a pistol herself and definitely kept one handy, especially in the days before she could afford personal security.

Found Rascal out back passed out next to the picnic table. I was worried he'd been into the sauce again. Turns out he had but thankfully this time it wasn't the full on hard stuff, just that tasty @Half_A_Pond Kentucky Rebel Scum sauce!

We have a few more summer days left and a few more bbq's left to enjoy! This week Rascal wants to give you a fireside 6" Colt .357 Python and is including some sauce so good it made his hair stand up!
