This discussion which brought together an exponent of Advaita Vedanta(philosophy of non-duality) and a proponent of analytical idealism gives as deep an insight into the nature of consciousness as can be possible through words.
(Both are on the same page)

@XCosmosOfficial Our normal waking consciousness is a very small part of our being. Memories from the past beyond this life are all buried deep inside our subconscious mind. We are like different avatars of the same universal supreme being.
(Heard from people I trust, so don't ask me questions)
@Philip_Goff Those states are subjective states ie qualia.
Consciousness and qualia are like both sides of the same coin, as there cannot be something like "free floating qualia" devoid of consciousness. (Credit of statement goes to V S Ramachandran)
@EirikRenV@hany99dev I have been trying... chatting to see the limit, but I haven't still been able to hit the limit.
In any case the counter resets every 5 hours.
@shiv_cybersurg You are wrong. I think, he is a man suffering from inferiority complex desperately trying to prove his mettle by becoming PM at any cost. To make matters worse, I suspect he has a subconscious belief that he is entitled to become PM of India.
@Lokesh_Uncut None.
My choice is Rahul Gandhi in jail for life.
Then we can have a credible opposition.
Now the situation is that irrespective of whatever Modi does to us we cannot afford to vote against him because of the fear that RG will become PM.
@davidasinclair I understand "information-processing system".
I understand "sufficiently integrated, persistent model of itself".
I don't understand "as an observer".
Where does the observer originate?
Stop obfuscating the mystery of consciousness with sophistry.
@elonmusk Beware, you know nothing about India.
Mukesh Ambani's brother ushering in former president of India late Pranab Mukherjee who was also the finance minister when Congress (party of Rahul) had last formed government, at his house, on the eve of the wedding of his daughter.
@PrachiPriy58246@ByRakeshSimha Btw, I i apologise if I hurt your sentiments. I don't believe in caste system personally, I had just made my original post to make a point, i had no idea that you will take me down a rabbit hole.
@PrachiPriy58246@ByRakeshSimha Don't want to start a fresh argument on that topic but what your are saying does not disprove my claim that kayasthas are considered shudras in Bengal.
@ByRakeshSimha Who told you that Hinduism is a polytheistic religion. We have different gods but at the same time we belive in non-duality. Different gods in Hinduism are like concentric circles drawn around the same center of universal consciousness(brahman).
Aham brahmasmi ie atman= brahman.
