So I just played Pokemon in REAL LIFE!

This is one of the coolest things I've experienced in the headset using MR. And the fact it works this well still blows my mind.

Huge thanks to @DramaticShape for his work on this for Quest. Unbelievable job on this.

Lolol remember in June where they said 5.8 would be the last version of UE5 for 18 months ?

🧵1/ Charles St is getting its groove back. As councilor, I’ve been pushing hard to revitalize this corridor, securing nearly $200,000 to boost walkability and curb appeal. That work is already underway with the North End Business Association, and it’s setting the stage for what we saw today.

Neighbors, today at 12 PM I’m excited to celebrate the Grand Opening of The Bubbler VR and Stack House Southern Cuisine right here in our North End.

This partnership brings something truly unique not only to the North End but to our entire city: cutting-edge virtual reality experiences paired with authentic Southern food. It’s not every day you can enjoy a VR adventure and then sit down to some incredible comfort food, all under one roof.

📍 568 Charles St, Providence
📅 Saturday, September 6th at 12 PM

Hope to see you there!

Justin

2/ Today’s grand opening of @bubblervr and @stackhouse_us partnership located at 568 Charles St is exactly what that looks like in action. A VR adventure spot paired with real Southern comfort food? That’s the kind of creativity and energy Charles St needs. Big shoutout to these new businesses and its owners, Toye from VR Bubbler & Eddy from Stackhouse for betting on the North End. The momentum is real, and the best part is, we’re just getting started.
