Well my friends, I think this is it: I’m out. No more Twitter for me starting in 2023.
I won’t delete my account for now just in case something changes my mind down the line, but at this point you should assume that I am logging off at midnight tonight and won’t be coming back.

It’s bittersweet for sure. I’ve made some of my best friends and professional contacts through Twitter. But I was starting to hate the kind of discourse it fostered even before becoming The Elon Show and at this point I really think we’d all be better off if it just went away.
This kinda went under the radar in the year-end crush, but congrats to the @SaveStandard folks who successfully defeated Marco Rubio time.
Can’t imagine him getting another sneak attack through the Senate like he did this year & I don’t see how it makes a comeback anytime soon.
1/8. A point which is often lost in discussions of inflation and central bank policy. Inflation is fundamentally the outcome of the distributional conflict, between firms, workers, and taxpayers. It stops only when the various players are forced to accept the outcome.

@RalfThePowerful To be clear, I mean adult-length book books read cover-to-cover (ie not counting like The Cat in the Hat, government reports, or school textbooks).
But yes I am aware this still puts me well below average especially within my profession. Just not how I best absorb information 🤷🏻♂️
What a great story. I wish every member of Congress was half as intellectually curious as @RepDonBeyer, we are very lucky to have him representing us in VA08
"My sins here are *embellishing* my resume."
To “embellish” is to adorn, decorate, enhance, gild, beautify, and festoon, and, on occasion, it means to “exaggerate.”
This Santos did not do. He just made shit up out of whole cloth.
