@ColoradoDOT@COAvalancheInfo So there were 2 trucks chaining up half up to the eastbound tunnel blocking 2 right lanes. Shouldn’t they chain up at the bottom of the hill?
The Shifa Hospital in Gaza now has fuel, incubators, baby food, medicine, food and water.
These definitely weren’t provided by Hamas—the ruling authority in Gaza…
But by Israel.
For 20 years in Yemen, I was told that Israel was my enemy—the most devilish country in the world.
That’s why I have decided to visit Israel for the first time next week.
It’s time for me to go there and see for myself. To listen, learn, and understand.
I want to meet ”the devil” with my own eyes.
I want to see for myself the supposed discrimination and hatred towards Arabs and Muslims in Israel that I keep hearing about. I want to speak to the country my culture taught me to hate.
It pains me to know that many friends and even family members will ex-communicate me for this. To them, believing that Israel has the right to exist, or even worse, visiting Israel, is some covert hatred towards Arabs and Muslims.
They couldn’t be more wrong.
I believe that Israel has the right to exist because of how we, Arabs, have treated our Jews for centuries.
Many people spread an ignorant and false narrative about Israel being "a white colonial state," when more than half of the people in Israel are non-white Jews.
Yemeni Jews, Iraqi Jews, Turkish Jews, Ethiopian Jews, etc.
The fact that every Arab Jew fled to Israel says more about us and our hostility towards our Jews than it says about them.
I wish that the Yemeni Jews stayed in Yemen.
But they didn't.
Because we failed them.
Because we hated, persecuted, tortured, and killed them for centuries. And that's why they ran away.
I look forward to visiting the Yemeni Jewish community in Israel.
I want to hear their stories about Yemen. How they feel about living in Israel, why they had to flee. How they feel about Yemen attacking Israel, their thoughts on Israel and the settlements.
I also feel an urge to apologize to them on behalf of Yemen.
Apologizing to them for having failed them...
The content that I will be making in Israel will look different from what I have been making.
I never thought I would be saying these words, but Israel... here I come.
“Until October 7th, I think my classmates and I had forgotten not only why we love #Israel, but why we need Israel.”

Angelina Jolie is a human rights activist, advocating mostly for women and children in conflicts.
But what about the women and children kidnapped by Hamas Jihadists?
Angelina Jolie is not advocating for them, neither does @UN_Women nor @amnesty.
We want our children, women, and men back.
Every country would react the same way. #BringThemBack #BringThemBackHome

A recent peer-reviewed study evaluated the effect of vaccination & booster administration on the reduction of excess mortality during COVID-19 waves in Europe.
Analysis of the data showed that a higher vaccination rate in a country corresponded to a lower excess mortality rate.
"In summary, a significant negative linear relationship between excess mortality and vaccination rates was found only for “slower” countries. This was true both for the Delta dominant period (R=-0.8, p<0.01) and for the Omicron BA.1 and BA.2 dominant period (R=-0.5, p=0.045).
We did not find significant relationships for countries in the “faster” category, likely because all countries in the “faster” category have relatively low mortality rates.
However, an inverse linear relationship between mortality and the rate of booster administration was found for the “faster” countries during the Omicron-dominated period. The greater the percentage of the population that received booster doses, the lower the mortality rate (R=-0.8, p<<0.01).
Far more people died from COVID-19 in countries that were slow to vaccinate their populations compared to countries that did it faster.
The same can be said for the speed at which countries provided additional doses of booster vaccine - the higher the speed, the fewer deaths.
The ability of rapid vaccination to save lives was best exemplified by the Delta wave, and the ability of rapid booster administration to save lives was best exemplified by the first Omicron wave."

Emilia is just 5 years old and she is in the hands of Hamas terrorists.
Don’t look away. Demand that Hamas release this innocent child.

My dad, who is a moderate Muslim, finally expressed his concern and asked me, 'Why are you supporting this genocide?'
He mentioned that he's stopped looking at his phone because he can no longer bear to watch videos of Palestinian children being bombed by Israel.
I replied, 'I empathize with the suffering, and it's not easy for me either.'
Then I showed him a photo, and we both agreed on the gravity of the situation in Palestine.
I then informed him that the photo was actually of a Yemeni child pulled from the rubble resulting from a Saudi bombing in Yemen.
I pointed out that Israel has allegedly killed 7,000 Palestinians, while the Saudis have killed at least 150,000 Yemeni Muslims. Some estimates suggest upto 300,000.
How can we call the current conflict a 'genocide' when what the Saudis did is hardly even discussed by Muslims? Don’t get me started on 200,000 Muslims killed by Bashar Al Asad in Syria.
He responded that if that's the case, he also disagrees with what the Saudis did. I replied, 'How convenient. Nearly half a MILLION fellow Muslims have been killed by other Muslims, and you didn't even know about it. Yet when Israel retaliates against a terrorist organization that has killed, raped, and maimed 1,500 of its citizens, the whole Muslim world reacts?'
It seems to have less to do with preserving Muslim lives and more to do with a religious fantasy of hostility toward Jews.

I hate to break it to you all but owning a gun does not make you a member of seal team six. Most “good guys” with guns even if trained are quite inaccurate in active shooter situations. The best way to stop a bad guy with a gun is to make sure he doesn’t get a gun.
