@KenneyNL Im still rooting for @photopeacom 😃and hoping that someone will make 1:1 stanalone-app version in that style, its amazing that they managed to nail it so much, but it not being complete standalone does stand in the way of it being main-use app.
@KenneyNL Unfortunately their flagships are not easy to replace with open-sourecish/paid alternatives, if you look at full functionality and actual production. Most alternatives specialize in some sub-aspect, and drift away from replicating their workflow closely ( which does make sense )
@SynthPotato Oof, that would be sad if the opted away from os/os2/bg3 turn based style and towards generic arpg style 🫤 so many interactions are lost, pacing is disrupted, the world exploration flavor becomes significantly different, the framing becomes different.
@reijowrites If its large open space workspace with many people and monitors facing towards other people ( especially if they are angled towards overseer/center ) - imo - cubicle wins any day. The workspace in the pictures is very nice however - has very good vibe
@GreyAlien Coutner point - not particulary hard to learn basic coding as an artist or to use visual scripting languages/environments. Don't have to be an engine coder.
If you approach it form an artists POV you will likely prioritize different things in game. But its not a big barrier.
@OlexaYT@SnoutUp Ofc i might be missing the info on weather there are some actual ways of reliably guessing views->sales Chris @AdventureMtn might know more detailed info on that as he is much better covered info wise
@OlexaYT@SnoutUp Check out Try to not fall asleep for example ( https://t.co/CaU8eykhxg) there is additional context, that one could say that game was not yet ready for attention at the time of initial coverage, but its not quite the only one
