We will start reviewing applications in early August. Please share with anyone who might be interested!
Accessible yet rigorous (and we think exciting!) introduction to quantum computing for high schoolers (and anybody else curious). Completely free and virtual, accessible to all. Application deadline approaching soon!
Please distribute widely :)
I’m happy to share that I’m now the Chair of the Physics Department at @BostonCollege! I'm looking forward to working with the faculty, staff, students, and administration to continue to build on our strengths toward creating a one-of-a-kind place for learning and research.
Opening the door to give someone their first research opportunity is one of the best parts of this job. Anyone who feels differently shouldn't be here.
Why is your topological semimetal such a good conductors? Here were prove it’s all about the phonons… great collaboration with my Colleague @taftilab and @ProfJuliaChan@NarangLab@NationalMagLab also thanks @ENERGY https://t.co/YCTDwGy5ac

Summer research internship for incoming senior physics undergraduate students @hkust. Come join my group to work on experimental #quantum materials research. Please RT and share with your undergrad students! Link: https://t.co/prqQjiDNw9 (scroll down for English version)
Hello X/Twitter gang, our group is once again looking for a postdoctoral scholar. We have a very successful and high collaborative team @PennEngineers@ESEatPenn with labs located in @UPennSinghNano. Please help pass the word around by reposting/sharing with interested parties.
We have now completed our analysis of new materials reported in the Google Deepmind / Berkeley autonomous lab paper. My own initial analysis is in the quote tweet.
Happy to have worked with @SchoopLab to jointly put together a comprehensive analysis, now available on @ChemRxiv.
This thread is my personal view after having looked at the detail of each of the materials reported 🧵

This exciting paper shows AI design of materials, robotic synthesis. 10s of new compounds in 17 days.
But did they?
This paper has very serious problems in materials characterisation. In my view it should never have got near publication. Hold on tight let's take a look 😱
After having studied rare earth tellurides and their Sb doped versions for a while, we now looked at rare earth diantimonides (NdSb2 here) and found that they also are low-dimensional high-mobility magnets. Find out more in @RatnadwipSingha's latest paper. https://t.co/TMIqyYgTkg
Great PhD opportunity available, to work with myself and @BrianGerardot on quantum sensing applied to the physics of 2D heterostructures! If interested, get in touch asap!
Sad to leave bengalaru after amazing https://t.co/X11Pyiax28. Excellent organizing- @ArindamPhysics & co-conspirators. impressive 2D in India and excited to see whats coming soon. My first dance party at conference banquet! Great hanging w @MichaelSFuhrer@goki225 and others!
