We are sure proud to announce that @PrincetonChem’s Leslie Schoop and Marissa Weichman are among the scientists selected to receive prestigious #PECASE awards, announced by @WhiteHouse this week!
Congratulations to Leslie and Marissa. Story: https://t.co/5jxFOCwaX6
The @SchoopLab publishes “Designing giant Hall response in layered topological semimetals” in @NatureComms with a view towards future spintronics applications. Congrats to Grigorii, Leslie and collaborators.

The holidays came a little early for the @SchoopLab ! Just unboxed a new Ag source anode with accompanying graphite heater that can reach up to 950 C. Thanks to Michael at @STOE_News for the install 🎁
Can’t believe I found out about this via twitter. I worked with him during my undergraduate, he was such a wonderful teacher. I will miss him. A big loss for all of us
I'm deeply touched by Mikhail Eremets' passing. He was one of the most important scientists of our times, discoverer of high-Tc superconductivity in hydrides. His legacy in the field of high pressure physics and superconductivity is unpaired. RIP

Excited to share Joseph's @StilesJoseph final paper , where he looks into the mechanism behind the excellent performance of HxCrS2 in Na batteries. Now published in @ChemMater. Also check out how remakably stable the crystalline/amorphous heterstructre is. https://t.co/Y5HQD2k3zT
Today Tyger @crystal_bubbe successfully defended her PhD and became the 5th person from our lab to graduate! Congratulations and all the best for the next steps! 🎉🎉🎉
I’m thrilled to announce that I’ll be starting as an Assistant Professor at Princeton in January 2025, in the Department of Chemistry and the Princeton Materials Institute! @PrincetonMSE@PrincetonChem 🥳
Super happy to share Grace's final paper about accessing bands with extended quantum metric (i.e cool flat bands) using soft chemical processing in a Kagome material. Introducing new Kagome compound CsNi3S4. https://t.co/841wh5n9bK
So proud of the work! It combines wet chemistry with quantum geometry in kagome materials! Amazing work by former graduate student Grace and many more! Enjoy the story here paper to follow
Congratulations Grace, @SchoopLab and colleagues on the latest in @ScienceAdvances: “Accessing Bands with Extended Quantum Metric in Kagome Cs2Ni3S4 Through Soft Chemical Processing,” with @PrincetonPhys.
