Pls revert @irdaindia @MoHFW_INDIA durng hospitalization it's askd by d hospital bfore disclosng d chargs whethr u hv mediclaim.if yes d chargs will be 25% increasd, on d othr side health insurance compnies pays 60-80% only under co-pay policy. How r u going to protct d consumer?

I think ye LOOT band ho jaayegi, ek toh insurance premiums bharo fir hospitalization claim mei co-pay hai toh 20-30% woh pay karo aur hospital ko mediclaim disclose kiya toh 25-30% charges bhi badh jayega..

If u don't trust, u may do d mock call by ur own people in any hospital... I've d latest experience with FORTIS nd like other hospitals in Kolkata in d past.

I think cashless should be optional nd even there should not mandate in hospitals to disclose whether you have mediclaim

I'm just askng @narendramodi the logic who made this rule. If a salaried person faild to file the ITR withn due date due to some good reason, he might be penalizd but why d Tax Regime will also be forcd on him although he's already paid taxes(TDS) accordng to OTR @IncomeTaxIndia
