@ukJ0N@Nigel_Farage Truth is there is some good and some bad. Plus it needs to be looked at in the context of how the world worked back then. Empire building was de rigeur for European powers. It's utterly pointless trying to apply modern values to the world back then.
@msmallwood1@steven_knox @GMandGetFucked He's a phenomenon. Massively under appreciated for some unknown reason. He's like a comfort blanket knowing he'll always have the pace to recover a situation. Yeah some rare times that situation is of his own making. And he's been doing it forever. Any team would have him.
@richardosefton It's embarrassing, people who probably consider themselves "patriots" supporting a guy who's done more damage to our country than anyone in the post war era
@gcunning12 A few different owners at least.. It's tempting to start talking about limiting number of horses one trainer can have in a race, but then you'd not be seeing all the best horses.
@GMandGetFucked But we did see Ballyburn and Fact to File deliver the goods in spades. They could be special. Shame about El Fab for everyone's trebles, but most people I spoke to had a successful punting day.
